REDS
Warm - scarlet lake - cadmium red light
Cool - permanent rose - alizarin crimson
YELLOWS
Warm - new gamboge, quinacridone gold, Indian yellow, cadmium yellow deep
Cool - lemon yellow - cadmium yellow light
GREENS
sap green, winsor green
BLUES
Warm - ultramarine blue
Cool - Antwerp blue, cobalt blue, cerulean blue
OTHER COLORS
burnt sienna, yellow ochre, (cadmium orange, purple) these two can be mixed from other colors
Try to have a warm and cool of each color you do not need all of them!
I will have palettes and brushes to buy if you need them. The brushes run about $30.00 and the palettes $20.00.
I like Fabriano Artistico paper in the block for painting outside. It comes in cold press or hot press. Both of these are fine. Do not go larger than 14" x 20" for outdoor painting (unless you want to go sailing in the wind!).
